Herbaceous plant from the mountains meeting in France, Germany and Switzerland. The entire flowering plant is used to prepare the mother tincture.
The flowering stem grows perpendicular to the rhizome, which has kept the memory (the scars) of the shoots from previous years. This plant presents three stages on the flowering stem. At ground level, a first rosette of interconnected golden green leaves. In the middle of the stem, two smaller leaves which reveal 2 flower buds in the angle of their vein, as a forewarning to the third stage which is the radiating flower itself. In the center, tubular flowers form the thick core of the capitulum. Around this, 15 to 20 flowers form a very balanced star and this ensemble gives the impression of three discs around an axis. Arnica grows in siliceous soil which completes the picture of a well-structured organization, but is also open to external influences. In short, it is just like a computer plant.
Arnica reconstructs disintegrated and crumbled structures, by introducing the structures that are absent in both the physical and nervous fields. The communication problems between emotions, will and intellect leads to loss of synchronization. The flower symbolizes emotion, the leaves symbolize will and the rhizome symbolizes memory – the entire plant can be used in all disharmonies due to a disruption of life criteria. This is the remedy for all competitors (athletes, businessmen, intellectuals, etc.) that are willing to do anything to win and are very hard on themselves if they do not succeed.
The components clearly explain the action of Arnica. The flavonoids are useful to people sensitive to feelings of betrayal and to its reaction spasms. The carotene helps them to avoid considering themselves to be continuously swindled. The choline confronts the organism to external situations and allows it to make more lucid decisions. The phytosterols are the hormonal components of reproduction and a good bbalance is required to trigger sexual phenomena. The tannins are the anti-virus of the computer system, responsible for the strength of the internal networks. The inulin and the choline have an important role in the lipid structure of the brain and the peripheral nervous system.
Use of the mother tincture:
Currently for external use only.
Arnica accelerates the resorption of blood effusions and hematomas. It is also an anti-inflammatory, used in cases of sprains, bruises, strains and pulled muscles…
Precautions: do not apply too thickly or under occlusive dressings as there is a risk of inflammation and itching.
Given what we have seen above, this is the great remedy for:
- Trauma: overworked muscles in athletes. Useful for aches, bruises, traumatic bleeding, overload pathology and sciatica. Also used for the prevention of surgical trauma (surgery, childbirth, etc…) and psychological trauma such as bereavement or other.
- Cardiovascular pathology: cardiovascular exertion, angina pectoris, rupture of small blood vessels with effusion.
- Overwork, stress, exhaustion and despair after an ordeal: willpower broken by painful events, a desire for solitude and silence. Despair, indifference to any further annoyance.
- Infectious syndrome: the patient is despondent, prostrate and pessimistic. Shows signs of a warm head but a cold nose and cold body.
