Indications:

Actaea racemosaReduces menstrual pain that is proportionate to the abundance of menstrual flow, pain in the ovarian region (painful ovulation, sometimes hemorrhagic) radiating to the inner thighs, and from one hip to the other, through the pelvis.  Pain begins before menstruation and is accompanied by uterine spasms and mental upset alternating with physical ailments; excitement, agitation, melancholy in proportion to the abundance of menstrual flow, and irrepressible loquaciousness. Feels like head is in the clouds.
Atropa belladonnaReduces utero-ovarian congestion accompanied by pain radiating downwards, (subject feels as if all the internal organs are going to protrude from the genittals), vaginal spasms, and menses with bright red blood (foul-smelling and in painful spurts), and which often are very heavy and begin earlier than expected.
CaulophyllumTreats painful, scanty menstruation. Spastic uterine pain (intermittent) radiates in all directions, accompanied by white discharge (particularly in young girls).
Matricaria chamomillaTreats heavy menses with dark blood as well as clotting, accompanied by unbearable abdominal pain. Subject cannot tolerate pain and is in a very bad mood before and during menstruation. Passive movement will improve condition.
Cocculus indicusTreats heavy menses with dark blood and spastic pain, accompanied by acute meteorism. Subject suffers from nausea and low back pain, as well as exhaustion due to purulent leucorrhea between menses.
ColocynthisRelieves piercing pain in the ovaries and painful menstruation. Doubling up and leaning forward will improve condition, as well as applying strong pressure.
Magnesia phosphoricaAcute pain preceding menstruation, as well as on the first day, subsiding afterwards. Menses usually begin earlier than expected, with dark blood containing mucus and tissue. Bending forward as well as applying strong pressure and heat locally will improve condition.
Sabina officinalisTreats chronic congestion of the ovary and uterus, as well as heavy menses with bright red blood, clotting, and low back pain radiating to the pubis. Condition aggravated by heat and movement, and improved with fresh air.
Veratrum albumTreats painful, heavy menstruation that begins earlier than expected, sometimes accompanied by nausea and diarrhea. Subject is weak and pale, with a cold body. Condition aggravated by movement.
Viburnum opulusTreats scanty menstruation that begins later than expected, is of short duration, very painful, and frequently accompanied by nausea. Spastic pain radiates to the thighs and lumbar area. Subject feels a bearing-down sensation and a feeling of heaviness in the uterus, as well as calf cramps preceding menstruation.
