Indications for Use: Cough syrup. Thins bronchial secretions and aids expectoration; reduces bronchial spasms (bronchodilator).
Available in: 250 ml bottle.
Adults: 1 tablespoonful, 2 to 3 times daily.
Children: 1 teaspoonful, 2 to 3 times daily.
|Teucrium scorodonia (wood germander; wood sage)||Expectorant and spasmolytic for respiratory ailments.|
|Grindelia robusta||Bronchospasmolytic expectorant used for asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema.|
|Thymus vulgaris||Respiratory tract antiseptic, spasmolytic, expectorant, mucolytic, and antitussive. Used in acute bronchitis, as well as in dry cough and irritation cough.|
|Pulmonaria officinalis||Expectorant, mucilaginous agent, and connective tissue strengthener for chronic respiratory tract affections.|
|Glechoma hederacea (ground-ivy)||Decreases bronchial mucus production and prromotes its expulsion. Used for coughs and bronchitis.|
|Drosera rotundifolia||Used in phytotherapy as a spasmolytic and bechic for whooping cough (along with Thymus vulgaris), bronchitis, irritation cough, and bronchial asthma. Used in homeopathy for whooping cough, hacking cough, and laryngitis; aggravated at bedtime, after midnight, and by heat.|
