A calcifuge species, the sweet chestnut establishes itself in the sessiliflore and silicicole oak woodland, among depleted, regressing variants of most of the spermatophytes. It is thought to have come from Iran 25 centuries ago.

Indications for Use

  • Treats toxic load caused by autointoxication and autointoxination.
  • Selective action on lymph circulation (effect on stasis and edema).

Complementary Treatment

Its properties are enhanced when combined with the following plant.

  • Aesculus Hippocastanum: Treats eczematized erythema (periulcerous or not) of the lower limbs; associated with the leaves (1X), buds act on cellulitis (subcutaneous angiocapillaritis).
