An aromatic Mediterranean shrub that appreciates dry, rocky soil and sunny hillsides, rosemary is a pioneer species that grows on degraded soils.

Indications for Use

  • Memory stimulant
  • Anti-free-radicals

Affections with decompensation

  • Respiratory: allergies, tuberculosis, respiratory decompensation
  • Liver affections: anti-toxic function. Spasmolytic, digestive aid (gastric atonia, lack of appetite, lack of gastric acid in the stomach), promotes bile secretion (use in cases of chronic inflammation of the gallbladder and hepatitis)
  • Intestinal affections: Crohn’s Ileitis, colitis, ulcerative colitis of the membranes
  • Nervous dystonia: Addison’s disease, chronic adrenal insufficiency due, in most cases, to the destruction of adrenal glands (pronounced asthenia, low blood pressure, gastric disorders, back pain, bronze-like colouration of the skin and pigment spots on mucous membranes.


  • On blood circulation:
    • Anti-thrombophilic action on blood coagulation
    • (acrocyanosis, arteriosclerosis)
    • Increases the number of red blood cells
    • Reduces levels of urea, uric acid and cholesterol
    • Regulates speed of sedimentation.
  • On endocrine gonadal function: sexual senescence, impotency or frigidity

When symptoms are improving, switch to Corylus avellana.

When symptoms are worsening, switch to Juniperus communis.
