This biochemical salt is present mostly in the intercellular fluid. It regulates the elimination of surface water (cellulite). While Natrium muriaticum retains cellular water, Natrium sulfuricum draws excess water by eliminating toxins.
A lack of Natrium sulfuricum leads to excess water in the body (retention of uric acid, swelling of the liver, etc.).

  • Urinary tract
  • Bile duct function
  • Digestion
  • Elimination of excess water through the skin (cfr. Natrium muriaticum) and kidneys
  • Affections aggravated by wet weather and improved by dry and warm conditions
  • Skin inflammations (similar to the effect of Calcarea phosphorica and Kalium muriaticum) with watery, yellow-brown discharge
  • Vomiting of bile (green), bilious diarrhea, flatulent colic
  • Diabetes mellitus
  • Intermittent fever (cfr. Natrium muriaticum)
  • Erysipelas (cfr. Magnesia Phosphorica)
  • Urine retention, night-time incontinence
  • Hyper-lactation (cfr. Calcarea phosphorica), causing depletion of mammary glands
  • Patients experiencing swelling, apathy, sadness aggravate by humid conditions
  • Patients with little appetite, who enjoy cold water and who have the impression that everything they eat tastes bitter
  • Watery diarrhea upon waking

In short, this biochemical salt is an excellent eliminator and anti-toxin agent.
